About Tennessee Photoworks

Tennessee Photoworks is the photography and film work of Tanner Cernick, a Tennessee-based photographer and filmmaker creating commercial, real estate, outdoor, and editorial visuals for businesses, brands, properties, and stories worth documenting.

My work is rooted in a documentary approach — clean, useful images with a sense of place. Whether I’m photographing a property, creating visual content for a business, covering a live event, or documenting time outdoors, the goal is the same: create visuals that feel honest, intentional, and useful.

I first picked up a camera as a kid trying to photograph Cedar Waxwings in my parents’ yard in Northern Wisconsin. That early curiosity turned into a lifelong habit of paying attention to light, people, place, and the moments that usually pass quickly.

Today, I bring that same approach to every project — combining technical experience with a natural, story-driven eye.
